Mammootty has a God man like look for his new film Drona directed by Shaji Kailas and produced by Aroma Movies.

The shoot of the film has started from November 2 at Varikkaseri Mana, the popular location of Malayalam films near Ottapalam.

In the film, Mammootty plays a Nostradamus like character Pattazhi Madhavan Namboodiri alias Drona. He looks like a Sanyasi wears saffron clothes, Rudrakshamala, jet black long hair and Vibhooti on his forehead.

Bala, Vijayakumar and Irshad play his supporters in this crime thriller with three heroines Kaniha, Navya Nair and Shwetha Vijay are the three heroines in the film which also has Manoj K Jayan, Sai Kumar, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu in the supporting cast.

The film’s story and screenplay is by AK Sajan, Kaithapuram’s lyrics are tuned by Deepak Dev. Ace cameraman Ekambaram of Kanthaswamy fame is the cinematographer while Don Max is the editor.

Shaji Kailas- Mammootty team has reeled out hit after hits in the 90’s. It is after a decade that both are coming together in after the 1999 Valiyettan. Drona will be releasing in March 2010.
